BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court March 30 - April 8. 

Don W. Hanson, 39, of Thomaston, aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs in Waldo April 11, 2019, 10 years in prison with all but four years suspended, three years of probation, and $400 fine; aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs (two counts) in Waldo April 11, both dismissed; illegal possession of a firearm in Waldo April 11, four years in prison; violating a condition of release in Waldo April 11, six months in jail. 

Sydney F. Smith, 48, of Frankfort, probation violation in Winterport July 15, 1998, probation partially revoked and continued, no sentence imposed. 

Harvey Higgins, 72, of Jackson, hindering apprehension or prosecution in Troy Jan. 25, dismissed.
