Waldo County Sheriff’s Office beat: drugs, alcohol, speeding
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity March 10-17. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
March 2 (late entry)
Robert B. Crawford, 64, of Monroe, was issued summonses for false identification of registration plates and operating and unregistered motor vehicle (150+ days).
March 5 (late entry)
Randy Alexander, 44, of Brooks, was arrested for failure to appear and issued a summons for operating after suspension.
Sylvia B. Lowry, 56, of Monroe, was issued a summons for speeding 53 mph in a 25 mph zone on High Street in Belfast.
Kevin R. Scott, 44, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension.
March 7 (late entry)
Chase S. Breen, 24, of Belfast, was issued a summons for a seatbelt violation.
Kal R. Keithan, 39, of Montville, was issued summonses for expired registration (150-plus days) and operating with an expired license (90-plus days).
Nicholas A. Colburn, 21, of Camden, was issued a summons for operating under the influence, stemming from an incident Nov. 29, 2013.
March 8
Nicole L. Hills, 32, of Monroe, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
Tess M. McCahery, 18, of Philadelphia, Pa., was issued a summons for illegal transportation of alcohol by a minor.
Clifford G. Duprey Jr., 28, of Dixmont, was arrested for domestic violence assault in Unity.
March 9
Alexandrai S. Prestera, 20, of Sandy Hook, Conn., was issued a summons for illegal transportation of alcohol by a minor.
March 10
Angela Patterson, 36, of Brooks, was arrested for unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.
Jeremy Bennett, 25, of Knox, was arrested for unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.
March 11
Teresa Barnes, 26, of Belfast, was arrested for violation conditions of release.
Lisa M. Black, 43, of Washington, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.
March 12
Stephen Hoffman, 19, of Winterport, was arrested for domestic violence terrorizing and domestic violence assault. Hoffman was issued a summons for operating without a license.
March 14
William Oxley, 53, of Winterport, was issued a summons for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
Nathan C. Gorham, 24, of Islesboro, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.
March 15
Todd L. Lee, 28, of Monroe, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
Claire E. Turner, 23, of Monroe, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
March 16
Evan L. Drinkwater, 19, was issued summonses for a seatbelt violation, failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
Deputy Jordan Tozier responded to a late personal injury crash on Route 1 in Northport, near the Blue Goose Banquet Hall in Northport. The operator was reportedly traveling too fast for the icy conditions and lost control of the vehicle on a "mild curve," spinning across the center line before striking a snow embankment and a small pole. The vehicle continued to spin, crossing the entrance of the Blue Goose before striking a utility pole with the rear of the vehicle, which sustained functional damage. The driver, and all three passengers suffered "non-incapacitating injuries." The driver was issued several summonses as a result of the accident.
