BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Dec. 7-13. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt

Nov. 29

Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Monroe Road in Monroe where an operator reportedly traveling too fast for the snowy weather and road conditions lost control of the vehicle.

The 2005 Ford lost traction when the operator attempted to navigate a slight right curve, sliding off the roadway to the left and striking a tree. Hitting the tree caused the vehicle to spin 180 degrees before striking a second tree. The driver suffered incapacitating injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Dec. 7

Jonathan Heeren, 62, of Winterport, was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle (30-150 days), failure to provide proof of insurance, and an inspection sticker violation on Main Road  South in Frankfort.

Dec. 10

Ralph R. Jones, 30, of Lincolnville Center, was issued a summons for driving to endanger on Camden Road in Lincolnville.

Judy A. Nadeau, 53, of Belmont, was issued a summons for driving to endanger on Camden Road in Lincolnville.

Dec. 13

Kyle Harding, 19, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for speeding 30+ mph or more on Lincolnville Road in Belmont.
