Weathering Shame will be presented by one of Maine’s leading weathermen, WCSH 6 News Center’s Kevin Mannix and his social worker wife Linda Rota at 7:00 p.m. The book is a personal journey of shame and stigma penned by two respected professionals about their individual experiences with shame throughout their childhood and adult lives, stemming from growing up with alcoholism, severe depression, and suicide. The authors’ goal is for readers to benefit from their struggles, raise awareness, and be inspired and encouraged.

Leer y charlar Spanish language reading and conversation group, 1:00 p.m. Open to all who are proficient in Spanish.
Effective Altruism: presented by Camden native Kyle Scott, 7:00 p.m. on the growing social movement founded on the desire to make the world as good a place as it can be, and the use of evidence and reason to find out how to do so.
