UMaine Hutchinson Center announces summer 2016 registration, scholarships
BELFAST — Registration is open for summer courses offered through the University of MaineHutchinson Center. Over 200 courses, both live and via distance education (online, ITV and video conferencing) will be offered throughout the summer. Summer University is held May 16 to August 19.
UMaineOnline allows students to be a Black Bear from anywhere. All students taking UMaine summer courses are provided with academic advising and scholarship opportunities. To meet with an academic adviser or to register, call the UMaine Hutchinson Center at 207.338.8000. The deadline for the summer scholarship application is two weeks before the first day of class. Apply early.
Some of the courses offered this summer term at the Hutchinson Center include: BIO100: Basic Biology and Lab, CHY122: Molecular Chemistry with Lab, PAX360: Conflict Resolution, MAT101: The Nature and Language of Math, ENG101: College Composition, HTY104: US History II, PSY100: General Psychology, and PSY230: Social Psychology.
