The Town of Lincolnville has posted a Swim Advisory at Breezemere Park on Norton Park.  There was a reported case of Swimmer's Itch.  For more info on Swimmer's Itch follow this link DEP Swimmers Itch.

Swimmers itch (Schistosome dermatitis) is a temporary skin  infection acquired by bathers in some lakes when they accidentally become involved in the life cycle of the trematode worm.  Ducks are the most common host of the worm but other birds and mammals that spend their life in or around the water may also be a host.

Our volunteers will be sampling the water for bacteria levels tomorrow and the results will be posted on Thursday.
