SAD 28, Five Town CSD to hold budget meetings May 17
On Tuesday, May 17 the Camden Rockport Schools and Five Town CSD School Boards will hold School Budget Meetings to present the 2022-23 school budget and vote on the separate warrant articles.
The Camden Rockport Schools meeting will take place in the Camden Hills Regional High School Gymnasium from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Five Town CSD meeting will take place in the Camden Hills Regional High School Gymnasium from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The proposed Camden Rockport Schools 2022-23 budget is $17.99 million.
The state formula for determining each town’s assessment includes pupil count and property values. The school budget increase results in a 3.7% average increase to assessments across the two towns. The proposed Five Town CSD 2022-23 budget is $13.23 million. The state formula for determining each town’s assessment includes pupil count and property values. The school budget increase results in a 2.88% average increase to assessments across the five towns. Camden Rockport Schools serves PreK – 8 students in the seaside communities of Camden and Rockport.
