ROCKPORT — The Retired Educators of Knox County will hold their meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at the Offshore Restaurant in Rockport. The group starts gathering at 11:30 a.m. and order from a special menu around noon. 

“Besides a business meeting, we enjoy lunch, catching up and a presentation together,” said The Retired Educators, in a news release. “Our scheduled presenter had to cancel, so there is a ‘surprise’ speaker coming instead.”

The group is collecting money and/or food for the local AIO, if you choose to donate.

Anyone who has retired from working with children (ed techs, teachers, secretaries, bus drivers, cafeteria staff, administrators etc) are invited to join.
