Paddling past the Penobscot Shore Preserve

CAMDEN/ PROSPECT— Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust on Saturday, August 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a paddle along the Penobscot River in Prospect. Land Trust staffer Hale Morell will lead a water adventure to learn about natural and human history of the River and the surrounding towns. Bring binoculars to observe wildlife and views from the water.
Bring a boat, personal flotation device (PFD), water, and appropriate weather gear. If you would like to participate but don't have a boat, or if you have a boat with an extra seat, call our office (236-7091) and we'll try to pair folks up!
Meet at the Frankfort Boat Launch, about 3 miles north of the intersection of Route 1A and 174 at the Prospect town center.
