Owls Head Library offers free fudge to children who check out their library books this summer
OWLS HEAD — “The Owls Head Library has a renovated, beautiful new children’s room and wants to show it off,” said the Library, in a news release.
Due to the generosity of a local donor, the library is offering a FREE piece of fudge available at the Owls Head General Store to any child who comes into the library, checks out a book, and presents it to staff at the store. This promotion is available through the end of August.
One piece per child, please.
“We hope you will come for the fudge but stay for the books,” said the Library.
The Owls Head Village Library is located at 31 South Shore Drive, in Owls Head, and serves its Midcoast towns with library hours Wednesdays from 4 – 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The library offers a newly renovated children’s room, current bestsellers readily available, a Book Club and other off-site experiences on the web or in public and private spaces. FMI or to get on the library mailing list see website at: www.owlsheadlibrary.org
