AUGUSTA — Rep. Walter Kumiega, D-Deer Isle, welcomed Stuart Kestenbaum of Deer Isle to the State House Thursday. Kestenbaum, Maine's new poet laureate, delivered the opening prayer in the House chamber and was later honored by the entire Legislature. Kestenbaum will serve in the position for five years.
