Megunticook Rowing hosting 27th Megunticook Regatta Sept. 12
CAMDEN — Megunticook Rowing will host the 27th running of the Megunticook Regatta on Sunday, September 12 at Barrett's Cove Public Beach in Camden.
Rowers of a variety of ages, as young as 12 and older than 100, have been invited to race in single or double shells on a three-mile up and back course along Route 52, or a 10 mile course from Barrett's Cove to the north end of the lake, circling the islands and upper reaches of Megunticook Lake.
Rowers will begin racing at 9 am. Spectators are welcome and this is a COVID safe event. Masks will be required for everyone, unless you are on the water.
Megunticook Rowing is a community-based, non-profit rowing program located at Barrett's Cove on Megunticook Lake in Camden providing rowing opportunities to people of all ages and abilities, from middle schoolers to octogenarians.
