Waldoboro Ukulele Jam
Sundays in April, 3-4:30 p.m.
Do you have a ukulele that is gathering dust, or have you recently taken a class and are looking for somewhere to hone your skills? Join us on Sunday afternoons from
3-4:30 p.m. for a Ukulele Jam session led by local music teacher Anna-Marlies Myers. We will be using the standard ukulele book The Daily Ukulele (the yellow version) by Liz and Jim Beloff, which is available for purchase at K2 Music in Camden or online. Please bring your book, ukulele, and a music stand. A donation of $5 is suggested. For more information please contact Marlies at annamarlies.hunter@gmail.com
Intro to Batik-Fabric Dyeing Workshop
Saturday, April 2 & 9, 9:30 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.
Batik is a Javanese method of fabric dyeing which uses a wax resist to repel dye from changing the color of a fabric. Once a pattern has been waxed onto the fabric, the fabric is then dyed. The waxed portions of the fabric will retain their original color while the unwaxed portions change with the new dye. The wax is then removed leaving the pattern on the fabric.
Join us for this introductory 2-session class on batik fabric dying.
Using wax and dye we will transform white fabric scarves into works of art. By the end of the class, you will have your very own hand-batiked scarf, as well as other beautiful creations. The fee for the class is $45. For more information and to reserve your space please contact Marlies at annamarlies.hunter@gmail.com.

Do you knit, crochet, spin, or weave? Maybe you quilt or want to learn about fiber arts? Whatever your interest, come spend time with like minded people. This is an informal gathering, so come when you can and bring a project and your friends. Donations are encouraged for the use of The Space.
