Lyman-Morse to host Cookie Walk and Carriage Rides at the Wharf in Camden
The Wharf at Lyman-Morse in Camden is hosting an upcoming holiday event – the first annual ‘Cookie Walk and Carriage Rides at the Wharf’, scheduled for December 16 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This festive event embodies the joy of the holiday season, combining the joy of tasty treats and the timeless charm of horse-drawn carriage rides. This is a free event and open to all.
Highlights of the Cookie Walk and Carriage Rides event include:
Cookie Walk: Attendees are invited to walk the wharf, selecting a sample item from each of the Wharf’s year-round businesses. The waterfront stroll overlooking Camden Harbor will take visitors to Salt Wharf Restaurant, Blue Barren Distillery, Lyman-Morse, Paper Plane Lounge and Motifs. Businesses will be open, inviting guests shop, dine and socialize.
Carriage Rides: Adding to the enchantment of the evening, guests can take a break from the delicious treats and embark on a picturesque horse-drawn carriage ride. Carlow Draft Horses will be taking guests on free carriage rides on a scenic journey around the picturesque harbor town.
Lyman-Morse and each of the participating businesses will be adorned with seasonal accents, creating a welcoming destination for holiday cheer. Shop for holiday gifts, have a cocktail or stay for dinner. Salt Wharf will be open for dinner (reservations recommended), Blue Barren will be open for dinner, Paper Plane will be open for drinks and small plates, and Motifs will be open for home décor, clothing and gift shopping. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, join us for an evening of sweet indulgence, winter magic, and community camaraderie on the Wharf.
This event is part of a December Weekends on the Wharf series. An afternoon of free holiday photos with Alison Langley kicked off the series. A third event – Caroling on the Wharf – will take place Saturday, December 23, from 3-5 p.m. Visit www.thewharfcamden.com for more information.
