Lee C. VanDine, obituary
ROCKLAND — Lee Coburn VanDine, 65, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his home.
Born in Millinocket, February 27, 1956, he was the son of Albert and Betty Hamon VanDine.
Lee was a jack-of-all-trades, working as a mason, blacksmith, and carpenter until he found his love of antiques. He has also owned his own seafood truck and loved all the customers he grew to know over the years. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed carving, hunting and fishing.
His greatest joy in life was spending time with his granddaughter, Taylor.
He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
Predeceased by his father, Albert VanDine, Sr., and a brother, Michael VanDine; Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Wendy VanDine; his son, Joshua VanDine; his granddaughter, Taylor VanDine; a daughter-in-
law, Tammy Arsenault and her husband Tom; his mother, Betty McLaughlin; sisters Joyce Smith, Barbara Smith and her husband Dennis; his brothers, Albert VanDine, Jr. and his wife Charlene, Earl VanDine and his wife OkNan, Scott VanDine and his wife Erica; as well as many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
A graveside celebration of Lee’s life will be announced in June of 2022.
