Hope Library to present author talk with Eva Murray
HOPE — In an event presented by the Hope Library, author Eva Murray will read from some of her recent work on Zoom at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 20.
Eva lives in Matinicus. She has written three books, Well Out to Sea, published in 2010, Island Schoolhouse, published in 2012, and Island Birthday, published in 2015. She also provides essays for a number of publications, including The Free Press, the PenBay Pilot and Maine Boats Homes & Harbors. As treasurer of the Matinicus Island Library Association, Eva understands the value of small libraries to their community.
