“Haunted Hall-oween” Party in Spruce Head, Oct. 19
SPRUCE HEAD — On Saturday, Oct. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m., ghouls and goblins, games, and a giant glowing dragon will welcome everyone to the Spruce Head Community Hall, 30 Village Road, for treats and tricks, a Make-a-Mask table, ghostly lights, Halloween goodies, and plenty of creepy surprises.
Costumes are encouraged . . . the spookier the better . . . and a photographer will be on hand to take portraits and capture the “Haunted Hall-oween” excitement.
Organizers Brian and Gretchen Le Blanc, Halloween enthusiasts for nearly four decades, promise “endless surprises for making this spooky event memorable.”
The “Haunted Hall-oween” party is free, but donations to support Community Hall programs are welcomed.
For more information, email spruceheadhall@gmail.com. To lend a hand and be a spooky volunteer, please call Gretchen or Brian at (203) 451-0807.
The Spruce Head Community Hall has stood in the heart of Spruce Head Village since 1923. Throughout its long history, it has been the site of dances, games, films, lectures, reunions, memorial services, flea markets, potluck suppers, birthday parties, and even a wedding or two.
