Hartstone Inn dinners to support Georges River Land Trust
CAMDEN — For the second year in a row, The Hartstone Inn in Camden is offering evenings of dining and donating events at the Inn to benefit Georges River Land Trust. Reservations are being accepted now for dinner on either April 4 or April 11.
The Inn has graciously offered to donate 50 percent of the proceeds from their gourmet dinners to Georges River Land Trust on two successive Mondays in April. These dinners are part of the Revelry for the River yearlong series of events which benefit the conservation and public access programs of the Land Trust. The Land Trust's Revelry events include tours of local businesses, nature programs, and sumptuous dinners hosted by supporters of the Land Trust. For the list of upcoming Revelry events visit georgesriver.org/revelry.
This event is open to the public. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made by calling the Hartstone Inn at 207-236-4259, just let them know you are dining and donating in support of Georges River Land Trust. Diners will be treated to an exquisite dining experience in the Hartstone's elegant dining room and will enjoy the cuisine of award-winning chef/owner, Michael Salmon.
The Georges River Land Trust has conserved 3,400 acres of natural habitats and working lands in Knox and Waldo Counties in its 28-year history and receives 90 percent of its support through private donations.
