Dead Gowns performs at Underground Lounge, Feb. 22
BELFAST — Dead Gowns offers up its magnetic, ethereal tunes Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Underground Lounge, in the basement of the Belfast Maskers Theatre, at 17 Court Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the show starts at 7 p.m.
“The musical project of Portland-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and synth player Geneviève Beaudoin, Dead Gowns weaves a contemporary indie-pop sound, wrapped in a sheath of shimmering moodiness,” said Mo Lotman, in an Underground Lounge news release. “Helping to evoke this complex brew are lead guitarist Luke Kalloch, bassist Alex Millan, drummer Peter McLaughlin, and Beaudoin’s acrobatic yet delicate vocals.”
Tickets are $10, cash only at the door.
The Underground Lounge offers shows on Thursday evenings twice a month along with beverages and homemade treats. Those interested in receiving email notices about upcoming shows can email sashakutsy2018@gmail.com.
