Carver Memorial Library programs: November 2021
SEARSPORT — Carver Memorial Library has announced its programs for November 2021.
Writer’s Circle: Poetry, comics, novel writing and more!
Every other Tuesday: Nov 2, 16, and 30th
3pm in the library meeting room.
Calling aspiring writers of all kinds! Are you dreaming up comics, poetry, or a whole novel? Let’s share inspiration and cheer each other on.
We’ll do a fun writing prompt, and then take turns talking about something you’ve done, an update on your project, or a poem or piece of writing you found. Then we’ll have some time to work on our projects and take home the prompt for next time. All ages are encouraged to attend.
DIY Kits: Luminaries
Kits available Friday, Nov. 5.
Decorate a paper bag luminary! Save your LED tea light for part 2: glass jar luminaries, available Nov 19.
Book Club: Mr. Churchill’s Secretary
Second Tuesday of the month, 1pm
Location: Community Building, 42 Prospect St.
All welcome! Discuss or just listen in.

Try new flavors, explore new recipes, or just get out of a cooking rut. Each packet comes with the spice of the month, history/cultural background, and recipes highlighting the featured spice. No need to register, just come in and pick up a kit.
If there's enough interest, we will continue the spice club through the winter. Stay tuned!
