Alchemy brings lively dance music to Camden, Oct. 22
CAMDEN — The Friends of Music Concert Series, an outreach program of The First Congregational Church of Camden, welcomes Alchemy to the sanctuary on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 4 p.m.
Alchemy brings a contemporary and innovative feel to both traditional and newly composed tunes and songs in the form of English country dance, Celtic, French, and contra dance music with fiddle, viola, piano, accordion, and vocals.
“From driving Scottish Reels and gritty French Bourrees to sublime waltzes and sweet Irish jigs, Alchemy’s improvisatory approach promises an immersive and captivating musical experience for all,” said the Church, in a news release.
Alchemy is Karen Axelrod on piano, Rachel Bell on accordion, and Eric Martin on violin, viola, and foot percussion.
