Aimee R. Davis, obituary
WARREN — Aimee Renee Davis went to the Lord on February 20, 2022, after she lost her battle with addiction. Born in Rockport, May 19, 1976, she was the daughter of Wayne D. and Joyce Wilson Davis.
Aimee attended local schools and was Summa Cum Laude graduate of Rockland District High School class of 1994. After high school, Aimee attended Quinnipiac College to become a paralegal for three and a half years
before coming home to waitress. Aimee waitressed in many local restaurants or you could also catch her on the stern of her brother Travis’ boat keeping up. Later in life, she became a mother to her most prized possession, her son Trey Wayne Davis-Gray, born in 2012.
In school, Aimee participated in basketball, soccer, and softball. She loved all those around her and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. To know Aimee was a special type of love.
Aimee was predeceased by her father, Wayne Davis; grandparents, Lawrence Wilson, Sr., Joseph and Gloria Coolbroth, Claude Davis, Sr., Vera Allen Davis; her aunt, Heather Coolbroth, and her best friend and cousin, Shiloh Meklin.
Aimee is survived by her mother, Joyce Wilson, stepfather, Michael Doughty, and son, Trey Davis-Gray, all of Tenants Harbor; her sisters, Sherri Ferrier, Shannon Murphy, Coleen Davis, and special and close sister Amber Doughty of Tenants Harbor; devoted and best brother, Travis Doughty and his wife Chelsey of Cushing; aunt, Janice Wilson of Thomaston, Cindy Wilson of Rockland, and lifetime best friend and soul sister, Lori Bickford; special nieces and nephews, Alexi, Raven, Noah, Jace, Dylan, Ava, Dani Lynne, Briella, Abrey, Cruz, Kohven; as well as many other aunts, uncles, and extended family who love and will miss Aimee.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10 a.m., at the Village Cemetery, Erin Street in Thomaston.
