ROCKLAND — Mid-Coast School of Technology Adult Education is offering 'Technology Essentials-Software Skills' as an evening computer course starting March 14. This 6-week course will cover more advanced features in Word and Excel to suit expectations in an office or retail environment.

Students will refresh their familiarity with managing software, files and folders, and common features of databases. Office etiquette, labels and mail merge, data backups, virus threats and security will also be covered.
