MANSFIELD, Massachusetts — Andrea Lee Norris, 75, passed away on April 4, 2024.

Andrea leaves an indelible impression on those who called her mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, friend, domestic partner, and teacher. Andrea’s brilliant spirit, radiant smile, and compassionate heart touched everyone who had the chance to know her.

Andrea was born on June 16, 1948, in Rockland, Maine. where she attended Rockland Elementary and High School.

After graduation and then being married, Andrea moved to Massachusetts where she would spend the next 50 plus years.

In Massachusetts, Andrea completed her college degree and technical training as a Dental Hygienist.

Andrea worked professionally at several local Dental offices as a Dental Hygienist and as a teacher, teaching Dental Hygiene at Southeast Regional Vocational School.

Andrea was an accomplished pianist and spent many years singing as a member of her church choir.

Andrea’s passing has left an enormous hole in the lives of those who love her, but her legacy of love, kindness and friendship will carry on in the many lives she has touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Andrea’s name to American Diabetes Association.

A memorial gathering honoring and celebrating Andrea’s life will be held Thursday, May 9, 2004, at 10 a.m., at Achorn Cemetery, Old County Road, Rockland. The Lake Avenue cemetery entrance provides the most direct access.
