Job Description:
We are seeking one full-time, year-round team member with weekend availability to join us as a customer facing Prep & Line Cook responsible for executing our menu of pizza, sandwiches and breakfast options. This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who love food preparation and providing excellent customer service, are punctual and organized, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
-Daily food preparation, including slicing deli meats, cheeses, and vegetables; assembling sandwiches and salads, and preparing and cooking pizzas
-Providing exceptional hospitality to customers, fellow team members, and purveyors
-Learning about our various products and local community to provide recommendations to customers
-Assisting customers in placing food orders both at the counter and over the phone, and as needed checking out customers at the register
-Helping maintain stock and inventory of all store products, including grocery, beer and wine
-Maintaining a clean and aesthetically pleasing store environment for customers while complying with all health and safety standards by ensuring clean and sanitized work surfaces and materials

Desired Qualifications:
-An ability to multitask in a fast paced, high volume environment while maintaining positive attitude and good communication with customers and teammates
-Excellent interpersonal and time management skills with ability to take direction and self-direct when necessary
-Punctual and responsible

Other Requirements:
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs from the ground
-Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
-Handle cleaning supplies
-Use mechanical kitchen equipment and sharp cutting tools and knives
-Perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as lifting, balancing, stooping or bending
