The Maine Lighthouse Museum needs you
ROCKLAND — The Maine Lighthouse Museum is always looking for new volunteers and docents to help with the day to day operation of the museum. We especially need some volunteers to help set up new exhibits in the museum. Even if you can only spare a few hours once or twice a week your help will be greatly appreciated! Please call 207 594-3301 for more information. You will be helping us keep Ken Black's vision alive and at the same time, you will be preserving our maritime heritage for future generations to enjoy.
The museum, home to the largest collection of lighthouse, lifesaving and U.S. Coast Guard artifacts in the nation is located at One Park Drive in Rockland, the heart of the Midcoast overlooking Rockland Harbor and Penobscot Bay. Parking is Free at the Trade Winds Motor Inn across the street while you are visiting the museum.
All members of the United States Coast,Guard active and retired are admitted Free!
