Raffle tickets now available to win a John Deere Gator
ROCKLAND — Georges River Land Trust is offering a single raffle to honor this year's 25th-anniversary Gardens in the Watershed tour.
This year, the volunteer garden tour committee decided to honor the tour's success and longevity by offering a single large raffle. Only 350 tickets will be sold. Tickets are on sale now for $50 each through the Land Trust office at 207-594-5166 or through any Garden Tour Committee member or Board Member. Tickets are also available at Eastern Tire and Auto Service on Park St. in Rockland.
The First Prize winner will receive 2016 John Deere Gator XUV 560 (valued at more than $8,100), which the Land Trust has worked with Hammond Tractor in Union to purchase. The Second Prize offered this year will be a brand new wheelbarrow full of the finest soil from Hedgerow in Tenant's Harbor.
Mark your calendars to attend the Gardens in the Watershed tour on Sunday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The raffle winners will be drawn live at garden #7 on tour day, but you do not need to be present to win. For more information visit: GeorgesRiver.org/garden-tour.
