Jillson takes Isganitis’ seat, Rockland to stay in RSU 13
William Jillson will sit on the Rockland Council for the next three years, having won the majority vote of residents during the November 3 election. Jillson will replace Frank Isganitis, this previous year’s mayor, who also sought the council seat.
In regards to Rockland’s potential withdrawal from RSU 13, voters response came at a rate of 1 to 3 with 310 approving a withdrawal, and 919 against. However, the majority of voters who answered the referendum questions are willing to allow for the exploration of alternative education ideas.
