Medical Partners Palliative Care moves to 125 Northport Ave
BELFAST — Waldo County Medical Partners Palliative Care, currently located within the Oncology practice at Waldo County General Hospital, will begin seeing patients at 125 Northport Ave., suite 106, beginning the week of Monday, Feb. 20.
The new office is located across the street from WCGH and shares a space with WCGH’s Urology and Nephrology practices.
Palliative Care is specialized care that focuses on providing relief from the pain, symptoms, and stress of a serious illness. It also provides emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families as they plan for the future.
“It is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness and can be provided along with curative treatment,” said Waldo County General Hospital, in a news release.
