Fall Festival returns to Thomaston Grammar School thanks to community support
Thomaston Grammar School brought back our annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 1. This was the first time we have been able to hold the festival since the fall of 2019. It was so exciting to have students and families come to TGS on a fabulous fall day to take part in this fun event.
Students and their families were able to decorate pumpkins, make a fall craft, participate in a family obstacle course, participate in sack races, a ring toss, and a beanbag toss, get their faces painted, have a snack, and have a family photo taken by Principal Riley in the outdoor fall photo booth. It was a wonderful day for all! We were so thrilled that there was such a large turnout.
A big thank you goes out to all of the volunteers who helped and all the families who attended the event. We even had a large number of Oceanside Middle School and Oceanside High School students who volunteered and helped to make the event a success. They did an amazing job!
A big shout out goes to School House Farm in Warren who donated over 120 pumpkins and to John Vigue at Thomaston Grocery who also donated pumpkins to the event when we were so busy we thought we would run out. It was a TGS community effort.
We are so lucky to be a part of such an amazing community!
