Training session for Maine Boys to Men program to be held in Rockland
ROCKLAND — On Monday and Tuesday, March 14 and 15, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Maine Boys to Men will teach attendees how to bring Boys to Men programming, for middle and high school boys, to the community. The training will take place at the Rockland UU Church.
The Reducing Sexism and Violence Program (RSVP) is a curriculum to help youth reshape the way they think about masculinity and engage them to end male violence against self and others. RSVP is grounded in research, evidence-based practices, and self- and third-party evaluations, according to a news release.
The Training Institute is for anyone who works with middle- and high-school aged youth, whether in schools, enrichment programs, camp, or elsewhere.
Registration is free. Read more at https://maineboystomen.org/training-institute/
