Susan A. Gamage, obituary
MOYOCK, North Carolina — Susan Gamage, 77, went to be with Jesus on August 31, at her home with her husband and children at her side, after courageously battling Alzheimer’s for over 3 years.

She also designed and made wedding cakes for many friends. Her expertise also included reupholstering antique furniture and repairing antique quilts.
For more than 20 years she sang soprano in the Church choir and for several years made matching ties for all the men in the Church Christmas cantata. Together with her husband, she mentored married couples whose marriages were in crisis in the Marriage Savers Program.
For 30 years she enjoyed running Sue’s Daycare at her home, showing her love for all children.
Other than her parents, Susan was predeceased by a granddaughter, Nikole, and sister-in-law, Janet.
