Camden Rotatry Club welcomes one and all to four free outdoor concerts on Independence Day.

This annual July 4th celebration will start with the Bay Chamber Jazz Ensemble from noon to 1 p.m. on the Camden Village Green.

Here’s the lineup for performances in the Camden Library Amphitheatre:

2:00 - 3:15:  The Midcoast Symphony Orchestra playing Sousa and other favorites 
4:00 - 5:00   Folk Duo Elsie & Ethan 
6:00 - 7:15:  The Right Track R&B/Soul/Funk 

Seating is limited, so bring beach or camping chairs. – and maybe light jackets. The weather forecast includes a 50% chance of showers, but the National Weather Services says the afternoon should be “mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. South wind around 5 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.” That’s an improvement over the last few days – so the show is on.
