David T. Roscoe, obituary
ROCKLAND — David T. Roscoe, 55, born February 11, 1969, passed away September 19, 2024 due to the injuries of a motorcycle accident he was involved in September 4, 2024.
Roscoe was well known around town; he knew almost everyone and could carry on a conversation with anyone. He was always willing to help when someone needed it. His love and caring came in toughness and sarcasm. He loved his weekend motorcycle rides with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Roscoe was a hardworking man, he enjoyed working for Performance Paving, and driving a dump truck.
Roscoe is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Sharon Roscoe.
Roscoe is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Roscoe; daughter, Michaela Long and her partner Jessie Moulton; son Scott Reed and his partner Lizzy Morin; son Devin Roscoe and his partner Hannah Loring; his sister, Velma Flagg; brother, Shane Roscoe, as well as 7 grandchildren: Jordan, Sophie, Andrew, Spencer, Lincoln, Judson and Lyric; plus, many nieces and nephews.
Roscoe was a simple man who did not want a funeral so instead we will be doing a celebration of life for family and friends on October 6, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Performance Paving, 75 Ilvonen Lane, Owl’s Head, Maine.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Burpee Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home in Rockland, Maine.
