Check out Goodridge Park in the center of Rockport Village.  The Rockport Parks and Beautification Committee is pleased to announce that the initial phase of the Goodridge Park makeover is complete.  We have had a lot of positive feedback on the improved appearance and usability of the Park.  

Our plan is to let the ornamental grass and bearberry grow in and then determine if any additional plantings are needed next year.

Many folks need to be thanked: Buck Hammond at Plants Unlimited and Anna Remsen at Seasons Downeast Designs for the generous donations of the plants; Joe Ryan at Adventure Advertising for the donation of the sign crediting the donations, Lea Anne Dunton and Anna Remsen for their design plan, and, Doug Cole for the hands on planting, weeding and mowing of the new grass.     If you see any of these folks, please thank them for their generous donations to the Rockport Parks.
