Painted Monarch is a relaxed salon with a cozy atmosphere and boho vibes. Quinn Bunting, a Mainer with entrepreneurial spirits, crafts experiences that allow you to express yourself as an individual, inspired by a new generation of hair that she's making her mark in.

Quinn's passions lie in bringing out the beauty in those around her. This 22-year-old owner, color enthusiast and stylist always keeps her finger on the pulse of constantly changing trends, products and services. Specializing in lived-in color, balayage, and blondes with an emphasis on healthy hair, Quinn began her journey in the hair industry in 2018 and has since been pursuing continued development of industry knowledge, skills, and trends.

“My favorite part about the hair industry is that it is constantly changing,” she said, in a news release. “I love to keep up with the latest trends and learn about new techniques to ensure I am constantly becoming a better stylist. As your stylist the health and integrity of your hair is my number one priority. I truly have your best interest in mind, and I work hard to make sure all of my clients feel special, unique and confident. I promise to provide you with a safe space where you always feel heard and understood.”

Along with the salon's bright and airy space her retail shelves display Olaplex, a high-quality hair treatment product that is clean and kind to your strands. Her upcoming plan is to expand her product line for all types of hair and carry IGK, Amika, and Kenra.

Painted Monarch is at the Salon Suites by the Sea, at 330 Commercial Street (Route 1) in Rockport adjacent to the intersection of Route 1 and Pascal Avenue. Head to the lower parking lot entrance to find her. There is plenty of parking and a nice outdoor seating area.
