Laurie Leach joins Woodlands Memory Care of Rockland
ROCKLAND — Laurie Leach, a lifelong resident of the Rockland area, has been appointed Administrator of Woodlands Memory Care of Rockland, a specialized memory care community on Camden Street.
Woodlands Memory Care of Rockland has been in operation since 2009, providing care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments. The specialized memory care community in Rockland is part of Woodlands Senior Living, a Maine-based, family-owned organization serving the unique needs of Mainers since 1980. With locations across the state of Maine, Woodlands Senior Living aims to make each day the best day possible for the residents they serve, while helping to bring peace of mind to those who love them.
“We are pleased that Laurie will bring her experience and knowledge of long-term care to our community here in Rockland,” said Leann Sebrey RN, Chief Operating Officer of Woodlands Senior Living, in a news release. “In addition to her expertise, Laurie’s desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others is an asset that we welcome, whole heartedly, to our team.”
Prior to joining the Woodlands team, Leach worked for MaineHealth, leading teams of caregivers for nearly 20 years at both Penbay Medical Center and the Knox Center.
