Johnny Cash tribute returns to Watts Hall for two nights, Nov. 1 - 2
THOMASTON — Walkin’ the Line: A Tribute to Johnny Cash is set to return to Watts Hall Community Arts, 174 Main Street, Thomaston, for two performances on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m.
After selling out both nights when the event was held two years ago, Maine native and nationally acclaimed Johnny Cash tribute artist Scott Moreau will once again take the stage to bring the spirit and sound of the legendary Man in Black to life.
Moreau, who has portrayed Johnny Cash in the Broadway hit Million Dollar Quartet and across the country for over a decade, presents a show filled with Cash’s biggest hits, including Folsom Prison Blues, Ring of Fire, Walk the Line, and A Boy Named Sue. Accompanied by a live 4-piece band featuring local musicians, Moreau’s performance also includes personal anecdotes, stories, and historical insights drawn from Cash’s biographies, interviews, and live concerts.
Tickets are priced at $40 in advance and $45 on the day of the show, if available. Due to the high demand experienced at the last tribute, advance ticket purchase is highly recommended. Tickets can be purchased online at https://wattshallcommunityarts.thundertix.com/events/236549, or by visiting the Watts Hall Community Arts website at https://wattshallthomaston.com.
