Cruise ships Independence and Old Glory begin regular Camden, Rockland, Penobscot Bay visits June 1
The regular summer stops by American Cruise Lines in Camden and Rockport begin June 1 with the arrival of the Independence in Camden Harbor. The vessel is 215 in length and moors in the outer harbor. Passengers disembark and are transported to the Camden and Rockland docks from the deeper harbor anchorage.
The visits of the Independence and the American Glory are part of seven-day Maine harbor cruises that begin in Portland. The itineraries include Bar Harbor and Castine, Boothbay and Bath, as well as Camden and Rockport. Package prices range from $9,000 to $14,500 for the week.
