Trekkers grateful for support of community
Trekkers would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the entire community for its overwhelming support this summer.
As we ramp up to our 30th anniversary, we appreciate and celebrate the incredible community spirit we’ve witnessed in our local parades, with alumni stepping up to reconnect with Trekkers, and countless other rallies of support from our students, families, volunteers, and supporters.
Notably, we are grateful for the recent participation in and support of our annual fundraising event, Fired Up. This year’s Fired Up celebration was a remarkable success, raising over $150,000 for our operating campaign. These contributions will have a lasting impact, enabling us to continue helping youth grow into thriving adults and active community members through long-term mentoring and outdoor-based education. The spirit of unity and collaboration displayed throughout the event was truly inspiring, showcasing the strength and compassion that define our community.
A special congratulations to The Causeway Restaurant for winning the Fired Up competition and a huge thanks to The Dip Net, Station 118, In Good Company, Tops’l Farm, The Block Saloon, and Wileys on Main for participating. Their culinary creativity and dedication to excellence shone brightly, making the event even more memorable. To everyone who attended, donated, or supported us in any way, thank you.
The support of our community is the backbone of our mission, and together, we are creating a brighter future for the youth in Midcoast and beyond.
