ROCKLAND — Loyal Biscuit Co. announces the recipients of its Spring 2024 Fenway Fund grants. The Fenway Fund is a bi-annual grant program that supports 501(c)(3) animal welfare organizations in Maine. This spring, the fund awarded a total of $5,500 to three deserving organizations:

● Maine Paws for Veterans: Awarded $750 to create trading cards that will educate children about the role of service dogs and raise awareness for the organization's mission to support veterans with canine-assisted therapy.

● Midcoast Humane: Awarded $2,590 to provide maintenance to their Mobile Surgical Unit, which provides low-cost veterinary care to pets in rural and underserved areas of Maine. The funds will be used to ensure the unit is road-safe, supplied, and ready to serve the community.

● Safe Harbor Sanctuary: Awarded $2,160 to convert the second floor of a garage into a new cat and dog housing and care area. This expansion will allow the sanctuary to help more animals in need and provide a safe and comfortable space for them to receive care.

"The Fenway Fund is a testament to our commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the important work of animal welfare organizations."

The Fenway Fund was established in 2019 and has since awarded over $90,000 in grants to Maine animal welfare organizations. The fund is named after Fenway, a beloved dog who inspired the creation of Loyal Biscuit Company.
