May 18 is Endangered Species Day; learn more with Maine’s DIFW
“Conserving Maine's Wildlife is an all-in effort that extends throughout all of MDIFW and beyond to our valued conservation partners, sister agencies, local communities, Maine's private landowners, and dedicated community scientists,” said Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, in a news release.
“Our team has boots on the ground in all seasons in all habitats across the state to conserve the species that make our state so special,” said MDIFW. “It takes monitoring, research, active intervention, and habitat protection and enhancement.”
