VINALHAVEN — Voters in the Town of Vinalhaven were tasked with electing a school board member to finish a term ending in June 2023 when they cast ballots for the Nov. 2 elections. 

Susan Dempster collected 365 votes from 387 total voters that cast ballots in the special election.
