Four local boys soccer teams qualify for playoffs
The 2018 boys soccer regular season has come to a close and four local teams have qualified for the playoffs.
Here are the final regular season records for all the teams in our coverage area as well as the playoff seeds and opening round playoff games.
The preliminary round will take place Friday, Oct. 19 while the quarterfinals will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23. The semifinals will be held Friday, Oct. 26 for Class D teams and Saturday, Oct. 27 for Class A and B teams. The regional finals are set for Wednesday, Oct. 31 and the state championships will be held Saturday, Nov. 3.

Preliminary Round Playoff Pairings
Class B North: #3 Mount View will host #14 Medomak Valley.
Class D South: #6 Islesboro received a bye; travel to #3 Temple in quarterfinals.
Class D South: #10 Searsport will travel to #7 Valley.
