Camden, ME - June 28, 2023 - the Bay View Collection (BVC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Erick Anderson, Area General Manager, to the Maine Tourism Association’s Board of Directors. 

Erick is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our three boutique hotels in Camden and provides support, guidance, and mentoring to our amazing hospitality team. Erick has a passion for team success, and strives to foster a family of hospitality professionals. A Maine native, Erick's 22-year career in the hospitality industry spanning both Maine and Florida has recently celebrated his 13th anniversary with the Bay View Collection since joining in 2010. He has helped grow BVC from one hotel to now three, with a fourth currently in development, in nearby Rockport, that he will help support and mentor that property’s General Manager, Sarah McLean. Erick has previously served as President to the Board of the Penobscot Regional Chamber of Commerce as well Camden Area Business Group where he currently chairs their Board of Directors and within his home community where he sits on the Planning Board to the Town of Washington.

Levin continues to say, “I have worked alongside Erick for just over 13 years, where he initially started as an Assistant Manager for the Lord Camden Inn, next assuming the General Manager position, and eventually overseeing all three of our Camden boutique hotel properties. With past and current roles on the board of directors for the local Chamber of Commerce and Camden Area Business Group, this new appointment on the MTA Board is just a natural progression of Erick’s professional growth, now on a State level. I am confident that Erick will be a great addition to the MTA Board, an organization that we have supported and been members of for as long as I can remember”.
