BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court April 26 - May 2. 

Wade D. Brayman, 65, of Liberty, six counts of gross sexual assault in Liberty April 1, 2011; April 1, 2012; April 1, 2013; April 1, 2014; April 1, 2015; April 1, 2016, 20 years in prison for each count; gross sexual assault in Liberty April 1, 2017, 25 years in prison with all but 20 years suspended and four years of probation; aggravated assault in Liberty July 13, 2017, five years in prison. 

Kristle Staples, 43, of Belfast, operating while license suspended or revoked in Searsport May 31, dismissed. 

Astin L. Merry, 29, of Swanville, violating a condition of release in Brooks June 27, dismissed; trafficking in prison contraband in Belfast Feb. 24, dismissed; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Belfast Feb. 24, seven days in jail and $400 fine; violating a condition of release in Belfast Feb. 24, seven days in jail; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Brooks April 30, $400 fine; violating a condition of release in Brooks April 30, 72 hours in jail.

Eric Gould, 37, of Freedom, criminal trespass in Monroe Aug. 13, $150 fine. 

Michelle Ward, 38, of Searsport, assault in Swanville Jan. 5, dismissed.
