UPDATE — CAMDEN — Police concluded their investigation of a man discovered deceased April 13, 2019 at Camden’s Harbor Park and have determined suicide was the cause.

Camden Police are investigating the discovery of a deceased male in Harbor Park off Atlantic Avenue earlier this morning, Saturday, April 13.

A person walking by discovered the body and reported the death to Knox County Regional Communications Center at approximately 9:27 a.m.

This matter is under investigation at this time. The death is not considered suspicious and there is no cause for public alarm, according to Chief Randy Gagne, in a news release.

The death has been referred to the State Medical Examiner’s Office per protocol.

Camden Police were assisted by Rockport Police Dept., Camden Fire Dept., and Northeast Mobile Health.
