Rockport artist Maureen Egan has a show of paintings and prints at Zoot Coffee from November 2-30. The opening reception on Saturday, November 12, from 4-5:30 p.m. will offer notecards of the artists work for sale in addition to paintings and prints. Zoot is at 31 Elm Street in Camden and is open every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Egan will be a presenter at the next Pecha Kucha on Friday, November 11, at 7 p.m. at the Camden Opera House, sharing how her process of making art helped her through breast cancer in 2012. Her forthcoming book of stories and paintings about this passage is called The Light From Here.
